This Privacy Policy explains how TeloPulse handles information when you use our platform. We wrote it in plain English. If anything is unclear, email hello@telopulse.com and we’ll explain it directly.
1. What we collect
We collect two categories of information:
- Account information. Your name, email, store name, and password (stored hashed). This is provided by you at signup and is used to authenticate you and identify your account.
- Operating data. The sales, commission, payroll, store, and rep records you create inside TeloPulse, plus any CSV files you upload from your carrier dealer portal or POS system. We process this data exclusively to provide the TeloPulse service to your account.
2. How we use your data
We use your data to operate the TeloPulse platform for you — displaying dashboards, computing commissions, verifying payroll, running sales audits, and delivering the other features you signed up for.
We do not sell, rent, share, aggregate, or cross-reference your data with any other customer’s account under any circumstances. Every TeloPulse account is isolated from every other TeloPulse account at the database level. Your sales records, your rep commissions, and your store performance data belong to you and only you.
3. Who can see your data
Inside your TeloPulse account, access is role-based:
- Reps see only their own sales, their own commission, and their own shift records.
- Managers see the stores they manage.
- Owners see every store on their account.
Reps cannot see each other’s commissions. Stores cannot see each other’s data unless you, the owner, explicitly grant cross-store access. Outside of your account, no one sees your data except a small number of TeloPulse engineers who occasionally need access for legitimate technical support — and only with your prior approval and only for as long as the support ticket is open.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your interface preferences (for example, which dashboard view you last selected). We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or behavioral profiling.
We collect basic, non-identifying usage analytics (page views, feature usage counts, error reports) to understand which features are useful and which are broken. This data is never tied to a specific store, rep, customer, or sale.
5. Where your data lives
Your data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure inside the United States. We encrypt data in transit (TLS) and at rest. We take regular backups for disaster recovery and we keep those backups for 30 days.
6. What happens when you cancel
You can export all of your data at any time before cancelling — sales, commissions, payroll, store records, everything. After cancellation we retain your data for 30 days to allow for any final exports or to handle accidental cancellations. After 30 days your data is permanently deleted from our active systems and removed from backups on their normal 30-day rotation.
7. Carrier and POS data
TeloPulse processes CSV exports you upload from your dealer portal and POS system. We are not affiliated with any wireless carrier, POS provider, distributor, or third-party reporting platform, and we do not share your uploaded files with any of them. Once a CSV has been processed, we keep the raw file inside your account for the audit window you configure, and you can delete it from your account at any time.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to how we handle your data, we’ll notify the email address on your account before the change takes effect. Routine clarifications and wording improvements are reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above without a separate notification.
